WSOP NJ Software
Online poker with WSOP NJ is available on a desktop client and mobile app, and currently unavailable via web browser. The desktop client is compatible with both Windows and Mac, and follows security best practices and compatibility, giving players peace of mind and gameplay flexibility. This is also true with the WSOP NJ promo code, which can easily be redeemed.
While lacking in the modern design of other leading NJ poker rooms, the WSOP desktop client is decent. Functionality is adequate and intuitive, allowing simple search and navigation based on a variety of options.
However, the software, powered by 888’s propriety Dragonfish software, isn’t updated frequently, leaving the interface feeling quite outdated compared to alternatives.
WSOP NJ app
The WSOP NJ app is compatible with both iOS and Android and requires a stable internet connection.
The WSOP NJ app once had major design flaws, but the WSOP team seems more responsive to the mobile experience, and these issues have since been corrected. With an interface that’s fresher than WSOP’s desktop alternative, the app incorporates modern usability that feels like a true competitor to the finest NJ poker apps.
WSOP provides poker cash games and tournaments through the WSOP app, including Sit and Go’s, fixed-limit Hold’em and no-limit Hold’em.
As for additional mobile functionality, players can use the WSOP app to handle deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, account information, and loyalty points. The mobile app doesn’t provide information on WSOP’s promotions, however. To stay up to date on promotions, players will need to access WSOP.com or the desktop client.
Available Games at WSOP
Unlike other online casinos that offer a variety of slot games, table games, and sports betting options, the World Series of Poker is all about – you guessed it – poker. There are many different styles of Poker Play available on the WSOP website and the WSOP app.
There is the option to play a variety of for cash poker games, such as Omaha Poker, Stud Cash Poker, and No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em. They advertise their Blast Poker as the best possible option for fans of Sit and Go Poker.
You will have to decide for yourself if that is the case, as the most popular option on WSOP is the No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em. An interesting item in the mix is the chance to play in WSOP live events. In order to get to these competitions, you must first compete in a series of satellite competitions, listed on the World Series of Poker website.
As far as limits go, there are multiple choices for each style of poker game. No Limit, Fixed Limit, and Pot Limit are available options for most styles of poker. If you are unfamiliar with a style of play, do not fear. The World Series of Poker has detailed guides up for every kind of game.
If you want to brush up on your Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha Poker, or Seven Card Stud know-how this is the place to do it. However, the navigation of the site can make it slightly difficult to locate these guides. They offer tables with high betting limits and low betting limits, but you will see many more people playing the low limit games. Some limits are as low as one cent. These are some of the most frequently played games on the site.
Most Sit and Go games feature either 6 or 9 hands. The payout is split differently for each of these styles of play. For 6 hand Sit and Go Poker the top two players walk away with the pot, split like this: first place gets sixty-five percent, second place gets thirty-five percent. For 9 hand it is the top three players, split like this: first place gets fifty percent, second place gets thirty percent, and third place gets twenty percent.
Multi-Table Tournaments (or MTTs) are another popular choice. These tournaments are scheduled in advance, usually sometime from 10 – 3, but you cannot choose your seat. One player will walk away from the Multi-Table Tournament as the sole victor. If you end up betting all your chips, there may be an option to buy in again, but that is not guaranteed. These frequently have much higher pots than the other poker games.
Quick Seat is the World Series of Poker’s recommendation for beginners, or those who are still learning their way around the world of online poker. The Quick Seat gives the new player the choice of six games selected for their simplicity. There are three cash game options and three options to play Sit and Go games.
The Quick Seat walkthrough is a great way to acquaint yourself not only with poker but on how online poker is played through the World Series of Poker. The three-step process prompts you to pick your general type of game (cash game or Sit and Go), and then the specific game you want to play, and then your wagering option. Be sure to read through the Quick Seat guide and familiarize yourself with the process.
You may still also participate in any of the scheduled tournaments.
Poker Rewards is the name of the World Series of Poker’s loyalty program. One thing that sets this loyalty program apart from other online casinos is the fact that loyalty points are given out based on hands played. This way, even if you don’t win, you are still earning points. Based on the points you earn, you achieve a level.
If you have an account you are automatically enrolled and ready to start earning your rewards. Most of the levels you can reach are calculated on a monthly basis. Anyone can achieve player status. Once you have accumulated a certain amount of Action Player Points (APPs), you are advanced to Bronze. After Bronze comes Silver, and after that comes Elite status.
With every level you climb after player, you benefit from something called a point multiplier. This feature increases the number of points you’ve earned at a rate determined by your status. Because you can turn your points into real money, having a higher rate gives you access to more cash. One hundred points equal one dollar of real money.
Player level earns you a point multiplier of x 0.0. Bronze level earns you a point multiplier of x 4.0. Silver Level earns you a point multiplier of x 10.0. Elite level earns you a point multiplier of x 12.5. Beyond the monthly status levels, you can achieve a yearly status level called the Champions Club that gives you a point multiplier of x 16.0.
An additional feature of the WSOP rewards program is their rewards-matching. If you are already a member of an online casino and you have a poker rewards account, you can email the WSOP people and request a portion of your points to be carried over. If you have a Caesars account you can actually link the two accounts and begin to earn Caesars Tier Credits for every APP you receive.
